Kirby Bat is an ally of the Ninja Turtles. Formerly a human scientist and father of April O'Neil, he is a giant mutant middle-aged bat that roams around New York City, after being mutated by sacrificing himself for his daughter when Mutagen was to fall on her from the Kraang Scout Ship. After since his mutation, Donatello has been up to creating a Retro-Mutagen for him. Kirby Bat debuts in The Mutation Situation.

Origins

The Kraang had made their return and have a Kraang Scout Ship full of Mutagen canister for Shredder. In the fight between The Kraang and Ninja Turtles, the Mutagen started to fall out of the ship. A lot of canisters started to fall all over New York City. As April O'Neil watched this occur, a canister was about to fall right at her. But then her father, Kirby O'Neil, sacrifices himself to get the Mutagen to fall on top of him instead. Kirby falls from the building and scares a few bats that were there. So then when he came in contact with the bats, he mutated into a mutant bat known as Kirby Bat.
