Ho Chan is an enemy of the Ninja Turtles. He is the ancient spirit of an evil Chinese sorcerer from around the Shang dynasty who became trapped within the blade of the Mystic Dagger. He was liberated by the Purple Dragons after the dagger was stolen from the Chinatown Museum by them, later on becoming their temporary leader. He was later on defeated and became trapped once again within the dagger, before being thrown into the ocean by Donatello. When Kavaxas was destroying New York City with his invasion, he was one of the few spirits that came out from the Netherworld. Ho Chan debuts in A Chinatown Ghost Story.

• Ho Chan dresses, acts, and has many other resemblances with Lo Pan from the 80's movie "Big Trouble in Little China".
  • The line "It's all in the reflexes.", which was said by Ho Chan, is what Jack Burton said after he threw the Dagger at Lo Pan's forehead and Pan's room collapsed.
